Sunday
Caesarea / Haifa / Acre / Rosh Hanikra
You'll begin the day with a drive north to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the region. You'll see the excavations of the crusaders' city, the aqueduct and amphitheatre which has been restored as a concert venue. From Caesarea, you'll proceed to Haifa for a panoramic view from Mount Carmel and a visit to the "AF AL PI CHEN", the naval museum of the illegal immigration to Israel at the time of the British mandate. Your day continues with a drive to Acre and a walk along the old harbour and local market. You'll continue to the northernmost point of Israel at Rosh Hanikra and then descend by cable car into the limestone grottoes. You'll spend the night at a Kibbutz guesthouse.

Monday
Safed / Tel Facher / Banias / Tel Hai
Today you'll drive to Safed, the center of the Kaballa movement where you will visit the Joseph Caro and the Ha'Ari synagogues which are the most important synagogues in the city. After that you'll enjoy a stroll around the Artist's quarter. Next is a Jeep tour at the foot of the Golan. You'll ontinue to the Golan Heights, stopping at an observation point over the city of Kuneitra and the Syrian territory. Next stop ais Tel Facher, a former Syrian army camp where you will visit the Banias springs, followed by a visit to Tel Hai to see the "Roaring Lion" monument and learn about the heroic battle of Josef Trumpeldor and his comrades in 1920. You'll also spend tonight at a Kibbutz guesthouse.

Tuesday
Beit Shean / Beit Alpha / Gan Hashlosha / Jerusalem
First on your itinerary for today is Tiberias and a visit to Rambam's grave, followed by Beit Shean, also called "Scythopolis". This is the biggest archeological park in Israel with beautiful excavations from the Roman and Byzantine periods. Following this, you'll stop at Beit Alpha to see the beautiful mosaic floor of a synagogue from the Byzantine period. Then it's on to Gan Hashlosha, (Sachne), where you can enjoy the water springs located at the foot of the famous Gilboa mountain where King Saul was killed in the battle against the Philistines. Your journey continues via the Jordan valley to Jerusalem with a stop at Mount Scopus for a blessing as you enter the city. You'll spend the night in Jerusalem.

Wednesday
Jerusalem: Old City
Tour the Old City of Jerusalem. Your tour starts with a visit to King David's Tomb on Mount Zion and then a walk along the Cardo, the ancient Roman road and a visit to the four Sephardic synagogues restored after the 1967 war in the Jewish Quarter. You'll tour the Western Wall Tunnels, visit Davidson Center and walk through the Roman Cardo to the local Arab bazaar. From here you'll walk through Jaffa Gate to the Tower of David Museum and see the ancient remains of the city beginning with the First Temple period. You'll spend the night in Jerusalem.

Thursday
Jerusalem: New City
Today you will enjoy seeing the Bar-Mitzvah Celebrations at the Kotel. From here you'll continue to Mea Shearim and learn about the unique lifestyle of the ultra orthodox communities. Your drive takes you by the Knesset, Israel's parliament, where you can see the Menorah with the biblical emblems. Next stop is the Israel Museum. Here the Shrine of the Book houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. You'll also get to see the new Holyland model which is a miniature replica of Jerusalem as it was during the Second Temple period. From here you'll drive to Mount Herzl, the military cemetery and Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust and visit Ammunition Hill, a former Jordanian army stronghold, conquered by the Israeli army in the Six Day War and converted into a national memorial site and museum. You'll spend the night in Jerusalem.

Friday
Qumran / Massada / Dead Sea
First thing in the morning you'll begin your drive through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea, with a stop at Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. You'll then continue to Massada, where you'll ascend the mountain by cable car and tour the ancient fortress, and the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, bathhouses etc. You'll descent by cable car and stop for lunch and Spa facilities in one of the leading hotels in the area. Then it's back to Jerusalem for the night.

Overnight in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem / Ben Gurion Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure.
